Though headquartered in Chandigarh, — Mitaali Nag, actress Proud parents Alec Baldwin filed a cross-complaint on Friday seeking to ‘clear his name’ in the death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, and said blame for the tragedy lies with three crew members and with the man who supplied the ammunition. Baldwin named all four as cross-defendants in a lawsuit originally filed against him last year by Mamie Mitchell, the film’s script supervisor. Baldwin said he relied on all four to do their jobs, and that Hutchins died as a result of their negligence. As a result, Baldwin said he experienced ‘immense grief’ and suffered an ‘emotional, physical and financial toll’. “More than anyone else on that set, Baldwin has been wrongfully viewed as the perpetrator of this tragedy,” wrote Baldwin’s attorney, Luke Nikas. “By these CrossClaims, Baldwin seeks to clear his name and hold cross-defendants accountable for their misconduct.” — IANS Actor Kevin Conroy, who gave his voice to Batman on Warner Bros’ TV show Batman: The Animated Series is no more. He was 66. Series producer Warner Bros announced the heartbreaking news on Friday night. Conroy passed away on Thursday (November 10). On the official Instagram handle of Warner Bros Animation, the company shared a post while expressing their grief over his death. In the caption, they wrote, “Warner Bros Animation is saddened by the loss of our dear friend Kevin Conroy. His iconic portrayal of Batman will forever stand among the greatest portrayals of the Dark Knight in any medium. We send our Actor Kevin Conroy, voice of Batman’s animated series, passes away warmest thoughts to his loved ones and join fans around the world in honouring his legacy.” — TMS The new look Over the years, Aahana Kumra has made a name for herself in the industry. Having given some amazing performances in Lipstick Under My Burkha, Avrodh and Call My Agent Bollywood, amongst others, the actress will now be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s anthology film India Lockdown. Aahana is all praise for her director. She says, “He is a very collaborative director and truly a feminist. The way he is with women and the way he makes them feel comfortable on the sets is absolutely incredible. He is somebody who jokes around, has fun and truly enjoys the process, and I think there are very few filmmakers who do that.” The story is set in the backdrop of Covid-19 lockdown in India and, coincidentally, Aahana even shot for it during the lockdown. The actress also revealed a few details about her look Aahana Kumra on working in India Lockdown and how Madhur wanted it to be completely new. “He didn’t want people to recognise Aahana, but my character in the film.
