Jacqueline has now moved into Priyanka Chopra’s old house in Juhu, Mumbai. Yes, the actress’ new house is PeeCee’s former house. However, according to a source, Priyanka had sold the said house and now it is rented by Jacqueline. With a whopping cost of around 7 crores, the house has an oval sea-view balcony, a massive living area and five bedrooms. Reportedly, Priyanka’s pre-wedding functions took place in the same house. After Priyanka moved to US, her mother Madhu and brother shifted to another apartment in Andheri West. The house seems to be lucky for PeeCee and we hope the same for Jacqueline now. He won his Academy Award for the 2010 film Beginners, becoming the oldest person at that time to win the award at 82. He was also nominated for Oscar for All the Money in the World. His other top projects include Sound of Music, The Last Station and many more. Many celebrities shared their tributes on the sudden demise of Plummer. Fun memories In a statement, Plummer’s The Sound of Music co-star, veteran actor Julie Andrews, said that she has lost a “cherished friend”. “The world has lost a consummate actor today and I have lost a cherished friend. I treasure the memories of our work together and all the humour and fun we shared through the years. My heart and condolences go out to his lovely wife Elaine, and his daughter Amanda,” Andrew said. Abhinav Bindra biopic has been shelved again BACK TO WORK FOR DISPATCH Actor Manoj Bajpayee on Saturday shared the news that he has commenced the shoot of his upcoming film Dispatch. The thriller tells the story of what goes in the underbelly of crime journalism. Manoj posted a picture on Instagram from the set and captioned it: “Back to where it feels like home. The award-winning actor, who played Captain von Trapp in the classic film The Sound of Music, died Friday morning at his home in Connecticut with his wife, Elaine Taylor, by his side. In a career spanning five decades, Plummer featured in films such as The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Beginners, for which he won an Oscar for best supporting actor, and All the Money in the World. “WHAT A GUY. Lovely connection Actor Jamie Lee Curtis, who also starred in Knives Out, shared a black and white portrait of Plummer to honour him. “I made this portrait of Christopher Plummer the first day of filming @knivesout. As I played his eldest child I wanted to connect a moment with him and I sat in the little study that he had as a room to wait in and we talked. “I had very little work with him but we made a lovely connection. His work in that movie is full of life, love and longing. A beautiful portrayal.” Veteran filmmaker Ridley Scott, who had replaced embattled actor Kevin Spacey with Plummer in his 2017 movie All The Money In The World, also mourned his demise. “What a guy. What a talent. What a life. And I was fortunate enough to work with him less than two years ago and had a wonderful experience. My heartfelt condolences go to Elaine. He will be really missed,” he said. The special friend William Shatner, Plummer’s co-star from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, also paid tributes to his friend. “He was what I call a friend. During the pandemic, Anushka activated practice of waste segregation on the sets of the projects greenlit by her production house Clean Slate Filmz, and she, thus, becomes the first producer to do so. During her pregnancy, Anushka was still looking at contributing towards making the industry operations better and we have to laud her for this! Anushka says, “Waste segregation at film shoots can make a world of difference and I’m glad that we could implement this on the sets of our production ventures.” The actress further says, “Protecting the environment is the need of the hour and the industry can contribute immensely towards the cause and also raise enough awareness on the same. We had realised the need to segregate waste to be of utmost importance a while back and I’m happy that we could do this even while we are in the middle of the pandemic.” Anushka’s brother Karnesh adds, “Anushka and I started Clean Slate Filmz with the intent to make a difference at various points. One such area of focus for us has always been to reduce waste on film sets.
