Parwinder said here on Wednesday that he had submitted a number of representatives to the authorities concerned in the last nine years — from grassroots-level official to the Secretary (Education) — but no official has, so far, even bothered about citing the reason behind stopping his salary. He said his salary was stopped when he was transferred on administrative grounds in 2013. In a letter written to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Parwinder appealed to the CM to get the matter probed and take serious action against the officials concerned not responding to his representations. Organisation’s patron Jaswinder Singh said water harvesting was the need of the hour and people should install water harvesting systems at their commercial and residential properties. Principal Kulwinder Singh said Sikhs organise chabeels during summer months and it is the need of the hour that they start preserving and helping in recharging groundwater. He said people should also stop wasting water and help in saving the Earth. The authorities have denied it.
