A source has revealed Tom’s friends have now given him some dating advice as he searches for “the one.” The comments come after it was revealed Shakira “begged” Tom to “stop flirting with her” as the situation became “too much” for her following her painful split with Gerard Pique. The 46-year-old singer and Barcelona defender, 36, announced their shock breakup in June last year after 12 years together. Gerard has since moved on with Clara Chia Marti, 24. “She doesn’t want to embarrass or upset him, but there’s no attraction or romance on her part - she was just being friendly. She’s flattered but not interested,” an insider said. The 37-year-old actress, who is currently living in Madrid, Spain, with her two- Amber Heard to write about domestic abuse in a tell-all memoir year-old daughter Oonagh, would be looking for around $15 million for her story but is ready to speak out after being harassed online during last year’s trial. She feels like she’s the victim here.” –IANS Three cheers GUFI PAINTAL AND CHARRUL MALIK Goodbye, Shakuni mama Mona Sarvjeet Singh Paintal, better known with his stage name Gufi Paintal, breathed his last on Monday morning. The actor, director, lyricist and casting director, Gufi reserved a special place in his fans’ hearts as Shakuni mama in BR Chopra’s iconic TV show Mahabharat. Suffering from heart and kidney ailments, Gufi was admitted to a hospital for about a week. He passed away in sleep surrounded by his family. He was 78. Born in undivided Punjab, Gufi pursued engineering. Fond of ‘fauj’ and ‘films’, he had a short stint in the Territorial Army as a gunner in the 60s before joining his brother, Kanwarjit Paintal in Mumbai. Gufi started with modelling, and worked as actor, assistant director, casting director and later director in about four decades of his career in the film industry. Active till his last days, he was affable and alert on social media. Be it wishing his co-stars on their special days or lavishing praise on directors on their new work, he was there. Gufi’s body of work includes films Dillagi, Suhaag and Mahabharat Aur Barbareek amongst others. His television stint included famous shows like Bahadur Shah Zafar, Mahabharat, Kanoon, Om Namah Shivay, CID, Ssshhhh...Koi Hai, Dwarkadheesh Bhagwaan Shree Krishn and Jay Kaniya Lal Ki. The film fraternity mourned his passing away. Actress Kasturi Banerjjee said, “It’s shocking to know that veteran actor Gufi Paintal is no more. As Shakuni mama, he was an integral part of our childhood. He will remain in our memories forever.” Charrul Malik fondly recalled her interview with Gufi Paintal. “I had a great experience shooting with Gufi sir. I was an anchor for an entertainment show. I was nervous and in awe because his character, Shakuni mama, was the talk of the town. However, he made me feel comfortable despite my lack of skills at that time. He acted like a teacher. The actor, 75, is set to “tell his own life story” in the upcoming three-part docuseries Arnold, which is scheduled to be released on June 7. And now it has been revealed that in the tell-all docu-series, Arnold will recall the moment Maria confronted him about the affair. In 1996, Arnold had an affair with housekeeper Mildred Baena, who became pregnant and welcomed a child nine months later, which happened to be just five days after Maria and Arnold’s son Christopher was born. At the time, nobody knew that Mildred’s son was actually Arnold’s child. He was 39. The Kaipamangalam police confirmed that Kollam Sudhi was travelling in a car along with artistes Binu Adimali, Ullas and Mahesh. The car collided with a goods carrier and all persons in the car got injured. Kollam Sudhi died at 4:30 am in a hospital while two others were transferred to a private hospital in Kochi for better treatment. Sudhi won hearts with his mimicking of actor Jagadeesh. However, he became a household name among Malayalam TV viewers after his entry to Star Magic. The artiste’s hilarious makeovers were hit among the fans. In 2015, he made his film debut with Kanthari.
