As per information, the victim has been identified as Tirlok Singh (50), a resident of Ghumman village near Phagwara. He was on his way home on a bike when the string got wrapped around his neck, leading to cuts on his face, mouth, nose and eyes. OC THIEVES STRIKE AT GENERAL STORE Phagwara: A general store was found reportedly burgled in Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar here on Saturday night. The victim, Daljit Kumar, told the police that he went home after locking the store on Saturday night. When he returned in the morning, he found the store burgled. The suspects entered the store after demolishing the wall and took away goods worth around ~25,000. The police have registered a case in this regard.
