Since its release, it has been trending on social media, and now actors Priyanka Chopra and Varun Dhawan have expressed their admiration for the same. Taking to her Instagram stories, Priyanka shared the teaser of the movie and wrote, “Obsessed #crew”. Varun also appreciated the teaser and the cast of the film and mentioned, “Great fun, all the firecrackers together can’t wait.” He tagged Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, along with producer Rhea Kapoor. Cillian Murphy, who played scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, won best movie actor, and co-star Robert Downey Jr. best supporting actor. He passed away last night at a hopsital in Kolkata, close friend and actor Mita Vashisht said. "He passed away due to age related health issues at a hospital in Kolkata. He was ailing and his health had been declining. It's a deep personal loss," Vashisht, who worked with the director on Vaar Vaar Vaari, Khayal Gatha and Kasba, said. Shahani is survived by his wife and two daughters. The filmmaker was born in Larkana, Sindh, in the undivided India. After the Partition in 1947, Shahani's family shifted to Mumbai. Shahani debuted with Maya Darpan in 1972. The film, based on Hindi writer Nirmal Varma's short story, revolved around a woman divided between her lover and protecting the honour of her father in feudal India. He followed it up with Tarang in 1984. Starring Amol Palekar and Smita Patil, the film received a national film award. The story revolved around an amoral businessman, who gets involved with a trade union leader's wife. In Khayal Gatha, Shahani traced the relationship of Khayal genre with Indian classical dance and featured Rajat Kapoor and Mita Vashisht. — PTI Pet Fed festival wraps up in style at Elante Mall Pet Fed, a two-day festival that celebrates pets, concluded at the Elante Mall on Sunday. More than 450 pets, including several dog breeds such as Husky, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Chow Chow, Golden Retriever, Beagle, Indian Spitz, Toy Poodle, Shitzhu, Himalayan Mastiff, and pugs participated in the festival. The actress, who is shooting for an upcoming film, has penned a lengthy note, where she has talked about the massive success of the Ranbir Kapoor star vehicle. The movie directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga is reported to have minted Rs 917 crore worldwide. Rashmika shared how she wanted to take some time out and enjoy the phenomenal success of Animal, but she was back on the set of her new film, so she could not spare any time. Sharing a monochrome mirror selfie, Rashmika posed for the lens hiding her face. She wrote: “Hi guys! Can’t show my full face as it is a new film look, and I can’t reveal it before my film team does, as always. But the shoots are going really well — just wanted to let you all know.” Reflecting on the chatter, Rashmika wrote: “Ok, here’s the thing. 1: I know it comes from a place of Actress finally opens up on Animal success love, concern, and worry.
