At least 13 rounds were fired in the incident, said the police. The victim has been identified as Janki Dass, a 45-yearold native of Rohru town in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. The incident reportedly took place around 3 pm when three suspects reached the market on a two-wheeler. Two of them, who were armed with sophisticated pistols, entered Shri Kumar Medical Hall (1). The CCTV footage showed them speaking to each other before one of them fired 13 rounds at the cashier. The other suspect pulled out a gun but didn't shoot. Both of them rushed out after gunning down the cashier and fled with their accomplice who was waiting for them outside on the twowheeler. The post mentioned firing at ‘Kumar Brother’ Chemist, which indicated that the original target perhaps was someone from ‘Kumar Brothers’ instead of ‘Shri Kumar Brother’. As per the post, the shooting was committed on the directions of Rana Dhillon and Canada based Goldy Dhillon Group, warning of more such attacks if someone supported the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.
