Leading the achievers’ list is Akshit Jindal, who scored an impressive 99.76 percentile. Construction work is progressing steadily, with 70 per cent of the project already completed. Three towers have been finished while four are under construction and remaining towers will follow. The scheme was launched in 2011. After a delay of five years, in 2016, 110 flats were allotted through a lottery. In 2017, the scheme was put on hold, and in 2018 it was restructured but later cancelled. Work on the scheme resumed in 2020, and in 2021, flats were allotted for the first time through a draw, in which 397 flats were distributed. Now, the remaining 179 flats will be allotted through a draw, which includes 43 flats under the HIG category and 136 flats under the MIG category. With possession linked to partial payment and modern facilities on offer, the scheme is expected to draw interest from homebuyers seeking secure and contemporary living spaces. One’s ear was severed while the other’s arm was fractured in the attack. They were admitted to a hospital. As per police sources, the case stems from an old feud. Harjeet Singh told the police that the suspects attacked his brother, Harpal Singh, on the evening of February 13. He managed to free his brother from the suspects and the two went inside the house. Afterwards, the attackers armed with sharp weapons entered the house and attacked both brothers. The suspects had previously assaulted Harpal on Diwali. A case was also filed against them that time. The miscreants allegedly assaulted them to pressure them to withdraw that case. Biker throws acid on woman, flees Ludhiana, February 16 An unidentified man threw acid on a 40-year-old woman working as a labourer in Dugri on Monday. The incident caused panic in the area while the suspect fled the scene after committing the crime. The woman’s eyes and face were severely burned in the attack. As per reports, the victim has been identified as Savitri, a native of Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh.
