Those arrested were identified as Arsh of Ramwal village, Sandeep Singh, alias Raja, and Amritpal Singh of Basarke Bhaini village in Gharinda area. The police reportedly seized three .32 bore Glock pistols, which were smuggled from Pakistan-based entities. A case under the Arms Act was registered against them. Further investigation is on. A BSF spokesman in a statement issued here on Saturday said that a drone in broken condition was found from an agricultural field in Mullakot village at around 11.58 am and another drone in damaged condition was recovered at around 12.50 pm from a paddy field ahead of the barbed fence at Daoke village. Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused had given Rs 4 lakh to an immigration agent to fly out of the country on fake identity. Part of the sum was transferred to a bank account which was frozen by the police. Investigations revealed that the gang was also involved in extorting money from traders by posing as gangsters.
