While her father and mother were away for work, she was at home with her siblings at the time of the incident. The parents said she was trying to imitate a character in a TV serial at the time of the incident but the police suspect isolation or work pressure to be the cause of her death. The body has been handed over to her kin after autopsy. Proceedings have been executed by the Doraha police under Section 194 of the BNS. The father of the deceased, Raj Balav, said when his 13year-old eldest daughter, Anita, was watching a serial along with her siblings at home, she tried to imitate a scene by climbing a Anita, the victim table and tying a wire around her neck. “During which, the table broke and she lost her balance. Her siblings ran out for help but till the time they returned, Anita had breathed her last,” shared the father. He said his daughter was studying in Class VIII at a local school in Doraha.
