A spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs said, “We have seen the story. In a fresh twist to the monthold conflict, Iranian-backed Houthi rebels based in Yemen entered the war by launching a missile at Israel, which Tel Aviv said it intercepted. INSIDE Nepal ex-PM held over crackdown on Gen Z No trace of rally driver Hari Singh, Kathmandu, March 28 Nepal’s former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was arrested on Saturday, a day after the newly formed government of Balendra Shah implemented the probe commission report on the Gen Z protest that rocked the nation last year. Oli, also CPN-UML chair, was arrested in the Gundu area of Bhaktapur district, 12 km east of Kathmandu, Saturday morning, according to the police. CPN-UML workers took to the streets, burning KP Sharma Oli tyres to protest the detention of their party chair. The party has called for a large-scale demonstration on Sunday. Former Home Minister and Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak has also been arrested from his residence at Katunje in Bhaktapur, the police added. Both Oli and Lekhak have been arrested on charges of their involvement in suppressing the Gen Z movement of September 8 and 9 last year, in which 76 persons, including around 24 youths, were killed.
