Several neighbours and do-gooders at Kartarpur recently collected ~500 each and extended a help of around ~12,000 to us. Govinda still has to be administered injections twice a day for which we have to take him to the hospital. Neighbours have been kind and have taken him on their vehicles.” Sapna said: “I did not join the work as there is no one else to take care of my brother. We presently survive on help from people. A sum of around ~3 lakh has been spent on my brother’s treatment and necessities after the mishap. Since hospitalisation is costly, I take him to the hospital, whenever needed.
